Clips on Timeline are now Read background with White Words????
Hey, I’m not sure what is up with this. Before when I was working on the timeline, each clip had the image on it. Now, each clip looks like a red rectangle with 3-4 words on it that I can’t read. When I play the project in the Canvas, I see the image perfectly. I am worried something got disconnected and I’ll have to do it all over again. Any suggestions or information on what this is?
BTW- My files are on a hard drive I have attached through firewire port on my Macbook Pro.

Trash your Thumbnail file. You’ll find where you’re saving them in the Scratch Disk Settings. If they aren’t offline, they’ll rebuild their thumbnails when you relaunch FCP.
