Clips needing rendering
Posted by Coulter Mitchell on April 6, 2008 at 12:07 amI have a project that I shot all in 720p24f/p/s. I have the whole project logged in my browser, and when I bring a clip down to the timeline, I get the red bar on the timeline that says it needs rendering. My projec presets are set to 720p24f/p/s. Can anyone help me out as to why this is happening?

April 6, 2008 at 12:39 amAs Walter says. Set your Easy Setup first and then create a new sequence, often sequence 1 in the browser doesn’t get the proper seq. settings.

April 6, 2008 at 7:24 amset up your timeline in easy setup to your clip presets, then in your new project, delete your (defaulted) segment1, and open a new segment, this new segment will have your new easy setup presets, and your clip will no longer need rendering.

And of course if all else fails, watch my tutorial which I created after a flurry of people posting pretty much this exact question.
