  • clips in timeline do not update their clip properties when changed in the bin

I have a 40 minute timeline that is full of greenscreen shots. All the shots have been keyed in shake and rendered with an alpha channel. Ive replaced the original footage in the finder with the new rendered clips from shake and reconnected all the media in Final Cut. However, the problem is that all my clips in the clip properties have their alpha set to “none/ignore.” When i change the alpha mode to “straight,” in the clip settings, the clips that are already in the timeline do not take on the new setting. I have to drag the clips from the bin and replace the ones already in the timeline. I have hundreds and hundres of cuts and replacing each clip manually will take forever. Is there any way to update clip settings and have them effect the clips already in the timeline? Thanks in advance!
