Clips have turned red on the timeline in 9c

save your JPGs as PNG and drop them in the timeline. Worked for me (Vegas 7.0a)

Thanks Ifan. I appreciate your kind attitude. However, the issue was specific to version 9. Now that we are on version 10, the issue no longer persists.

It definitely has to do with the quality of the media, I was using mpg2 media in Vegas 8.0 and it was red, then I added a video wmv9 and It was fine
