i made a commercial for a salon using clips that i shot myself and some that i ripped from their promo dvd and edited them together like a “24” style layout. some of the dvd clips keep freezing when i export the whole piece. it’s always one or two of the same 3 clips. i have tried reimporting the clips, i even recaptured them and nothing makes it any better.
any thoughts? this commercial is due today!
    thanks

how i got the footage : i ripped it from the dvds using mac the ripper and then converted them to mp4’s using handbrake. i then used quicktime to take smaller clips and export them to .mov files which i imported into AE.
    any suggestions? thanks a lot

i exported them as animation files, so i’m not sure exactly what codec that uses.
thanks, i’ll try maybe a different codec.

alright, i’ve tried a couple other codecs and the same problem is still happening. could it be due to the comp settings?
