When i import a picture in illustrator cs and make a cliping path on it the previos picture bounds still remain and can be seen when in outline preview. Is there a way to get rid of them and keep only the clipping path bounds?

I need this because when i make a pdf it makes it including this bounds too, and its generelly annoying.
    Thx in advance.

Not sure if this would work, but you may have to export the Illustrator file as a layered PSD, then copy the bitmap of your image from the Photoshop file back into its proper place in Illustrator. It’s a complex work around, and there is probably a simpler way, but it may do the trick.

    Hope that helped!
