Clip Note Customization
Can Clip notes be customized so that when I use them I can get my graphic to show instead of promoting Adobe?
This was posted previously with no response in another thread. I apologize for the duplicity.

Are you sure? I believe there is a PDF that is used for the template. If you have Acrobat (the full version, not just the reader) shouldn’t you be able to modify it? I don’t have Acrobat, so I can’t tell you for sure, but the file is in this directory by default: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0\ClipNotes\en_US
The file name is ClipNotesTemplate.pdf

Just tried it, but no go. I do have Acrobat 7 Pro, but I can’t seem to change the text. -

I tried everything. I even created a new pdf that had multimedia in it. Added it to the default folder. But no luck.I’ll just keep building web theaters. It just seemed so logical and easy to use. But I need a branded look. Maybe I’ll post on the adobe acrobat forum. There may be something that is undiscovered….. woooooahhhhhh…. cj

Try using Illustrator. It’ll probably give you some warnings, but I tried it now with Illustrator CS2 and it worked fine. Export clip notes from Premiere and it showed the changes I made. Also, the PDF file is read-only, so you have to disable that option in the file properties in Windows Explorer.

I don’t have IllustCS2, just CS. I can make changes and pp20 does use the changes but I lose the note capability and it give authorship warnings. Not professional.
I gotta admit, it was a great thought. I tried psCS2, but failed miserably.
