I Markered a 30 minute clip (roughly 60 marks). While editing I selected a shot from that clip (mark in/out) and Sped it up 200%. All of my Markers slid their positions so they no longer lined up to their original position/timecode. Bummer. I changed the speed back to 100% and the markers stayed at their incorrect positioning. Bigger bummer. I tried appleZ, nothing. Unless I’m missing something I feel like I wasted time marking a clip.

Has anybody experienced this? Did I miss this day in the FCP Standard Operating Proceedure class?

In my SOP book, 30 minutes to way too long for a single clip. My clips are short and discrete “scene and take” clips. To each his own though. You might want to put in a feature request like: “Markers Retain Original Position”.
