My computer recently crashed when I tried to change the raid configuration of my internal hard drives. To make a long story short I had to wipe the disks and start clean. I wasn’t concerned about my works in progress however because I had up to date back up files of all my projects and the underlying clips. After I restored the system and restored the volume which contained my PPro CS3 project, I went back to work on the project. However, when I fired up PPro and started the project it indicated that all my clips were off line. I was completely puzzeled by this because I knew the clip files had been restored until I realized that the newly restored volume with the project and the clip files was now on a Raid with a different disk letter. Is there any way of changing on a batch basis the clips’ links to the new drive or am I stuck reimporting every clip (there are over 80 of them) and reinserting them into the project? Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Provided your media is in the one folder they should all reconnect. if you’ve spread them out over many folders that will only reconnect on a folder by folder basis.
Each file is looking for the folder structure inside the drive letter.
I always capture in the one folder and set up a folder structure inside my projects. Or at least have a folder structure that is simplified to Images, Audio, Video.
