Clip Label Shortcut?
Posted by Nathan Luppino on July 13, 2011 at 8:34 amHey, I was wondering if anyone knew a shortcut to change a clip’s color label in the Project Window. I know I can go to Edit>Label>(Color), but that’s two clicks. I yearn for more efficiency.

July 13, 2011 at 9:45 amI have CS5.5 and have assigned shortcuts for label colours. I used the F Keys so F8 makes it pink. etc.

January 17, 2015 at 11:09 amHey,
I know your post is years old but I was trying to do the same thing, label clips as a color with a single shortcut, but I can’t find any options to do that in the Keyboard Shortcuts in PPro CC 2014.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
ALEX

Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts>
Click the triangle next to “Edit” to expand the choices.
Click the triangle next to “Labels” to expand the choices.Assign the label a shortcut (click on the specific label and click “edit”).
When I’m working on music videos, I like to mark clips I’ve used, so I don’t accidentally use a clip twice. Being able to to simply hit ctrl+1 (or a single button on my ShuttlePro2) rather than going through a drop down to mark a clip as “used” is a major time saver.
