is there any way to expand the “clip description” except of rearranging the project window?

I would expect PP to show the contents of the description when I hover over the description area… but it doesn’t.

Right now description is only practical if it isnt longer then 2 words or if I rearrange the columns and go fullscreen by pressing ~

maybe there is a different way to accomplish the same thing?
I need a fast accessible and fast editable way to describe a clip and don’t want to rearrange my layout each time or click through menus.

    any ideas? ; )

I used to use list view with large picons with description as the first column.

I think you lose scrubbing that way, though.

Thank you Alex, I also use list view but description is second column in my workspace.
Actually I didn’t notice a difference after making the icons larger though.

Check the panel menu. You can have thumbnails in list view.
