Clip broken into 50 – 1 to 5 second pieces
I have had clips break into 1 to 5 second pieces when transfered into my NLE (Vegas 8) from my JVC HD100Ua. Everything plays back fine on the camera. It has happened a couple of times and I can not find a commen event that could be causing it, it is so random. Has anyone else had this problem and can I fix it? Help

Well i dont know much about the Vegas package, but I had this on FCP.
What I did to sort the problem on Apple was to capture as a non device control unit.. IE the software writes its own time code as it goes along. Can you do that on Vegas ? SOunds like your cams time code is going haywire at times. I had a it a few times when I was on Ver 5.1 but since Ver 6 its kinda gone??? Hope this helps
