I have a client shooting HDV. I am doing a logo treatment for them.
Then need an HDV compatible file. What would be the render settings
and which format? I think they are editing this on FCP.
    Thanks

You need to ask if it is 720p from a JVC or 1080i from a Sony.

Then, once you know the frame size, for a logo my best guess is to use the Quicktime Animation codec with Millions of Colors+ (the plus sign gets you the alpha channel).

So either 1280X720 or 1920X1080 will be the frame size.
