I have a Decklink SD Card in a G5 Power PC Mac.
I am trying to go out to a 1080i Sony TV through the component inputs.
As of now, nothing is showing up on the TV. The computer is reading the card, and the TV is reading that something is plugged into the component inputs, but nothing on the TV.
We are using Final Cut Pro 6 to cut the film, by the way.

Any help on getting the Tv to display the signal is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    -Jake

    Hi Jake,

Which specific card is this? To check, simply go into the OS X System Preferences, click on DeckLink and it should tell you the type of DeckLink card near the top of the preference pane.

What is the model of the Sony TV?

Since you’re on an SD card, the card should down convert the output to the TV if you’re working in 1080i60 or 1080i50. However, you should still use the HD easy setups in Final Cut Pro.

    regards

The film was shot in 1080p @23.98
We converted it down to 720p24 and will online it later.
The TV is the SONY KD-34XBR70.
In the Decklink section of System Prefs. it says that it is a Decklink Extreme Card.
Hope this helps you, because I would love for this to work.
    Thank you,

    -Jake
