Clicking on beginning of CLIP shows preceding clip/black in Preview Window?
So I’ve been editing like normal but randomly got this issue where clicking on the beginning of a clip in Sony Vegas instead shows the clip preceding it (these are split clips using the split tool). For example; if I go into track motion and go to the very first keyframe within the selected clip (the beginning), changes can’t be seen in the Preview Window because all that’s showing in the Preview is the clip preceding.
I’ve already ticked on Sync Cursor in Track Motion but it would appear the issue is elsewhere because the ‘preceding clip on preview’ issue is there in general when I try to just click on the beginning of a clip. I’ve always tried reinstalling Vegas and resetting it’s default settings (no luck…).
Any thoughts?

Yes.
1) You’re working an Interlace project? Correct? Is your Media Matched to your Project?
2) Presently you don’t appear to have saved your Project? It is appearing as Untitled, which implies it isn’t saved, which in turn also suggests you’ve not eastablished or determined 1) above?
3) The example you’ve provided does not clearly determine the all important Frame by Frame accurate reveal, it doesn’t reveal the many frames that would have been helpful – Zoom in on those frames under suspicion ???? !
My “thoughts” are that you’ve got a rogue, single INTERLACE or PROGRESSIVE Frame remains behind after a Split which in turn is giving you that Preceding Event. But until we get that 3) I can’t be sure what you’ve done.
