    Hello All –

First the specs: 2.83 quad core, 8GB RAM, 4850 series video card, 7200 HD, working with mv2 and wav file exported from Premiere Pro for DVD authoring. mv2 file is 5.02GB, and the wav file is close to a GB.

I open Encore, select NTCS DVD, normal settings and all. The program opens just fine. I drag and drop my two files, the mv2 and the wav into the project bin. It takes a moment but they load into the project. I then make a new timeline. Timeline shows up just fine. I change the setting from 4:3 to 16:9. Now, one of two things happens:

    1) I click and drag the audio file into the timeline and it work; click the video file, drag and drop, and when I drop, the program crashes (Not Responding).

    2) I click the video file, and it instantly crashes (Not Responding).

Went through this process about 10 times before I decided to give up for the afternoon and head back to work. Any help would be great. I’ve got a deadline of midweek next week to bring the proof to the client…
