Is there a way to delete In and Out points on a media clip?

I don’t want to move them to the ends of the clips (unless that’s all I can do), I want to actually eliminate them.

    Tnx.

Options – Preferences – Editing – Collapse loop region when no time selection is present.
Enable this option and, when you click off, the loop region is gone.

    Thanks Mike.

I really don’t see the functionality of that setting in the Trimmer window. What were they thinking???

I still have to move the cursor at least one frame to get the zone to go away, but heigh-ho.

A lot of folks like to use the Trimmer for picking and choosing sections from a long event to be added to the timeline.
You can choose audio-only, video-only or both.
Others (like me) prefer to do it right on the timeline.
