So lets say I’m animating an object that is moving across the screen from right to left. I set my start keyframe and then set my next, then my next, except this time I accidently moved my object too far over and need to move it back. I haven’t yet set the keyframe by lifting my finger off the mouse button, so I move the position back. Then I move the object again and set my last keyframe. When I play it back my object moves as it is supposed to the first couple keyframes, but when it gets to the third it dances back and forth.

Even if I delete my last two or three keyframes and start over, AE seems to remember and does the dance every time. How do I stop it from remembering these positions so I can truly start over?

Thank you so much for your reply. That certainly helped solve the problem. 🙂
