    I am trying to free up space without effecting my projects…so….in my render files can I delete them without effecting the projects…now in my head it would probably considering I am guessing that then I would have to re-render timelines? Are there any good tips on free-ing up space on hard drives on a MAC…or making them run faster? I predominantly a PC user just wondering for a MAC if there is some useful advice for this sort of thing?

    Chris,

    You could simply open the FCP Render Manager and delete every render that was not associated with your present sequence, but frankly, the most time and cost efficient solution for you is to buy additional drive space. 1Tb hard drives are just $80 now. See the link below from Newegg…
