  Clean up the image?

  Back in school I shot an experimental dance for the camera piece. While we were shooting everything seemed fine. Once we laid to tape there were all kinds of degradation and dropout issues.

  I’m pretty sure that there was something wrong with the camera. Anything that was overexposed looks really pixelated. A still from the piece can be found here.

  I’ve lost one of the original tapes, and the project files were lost a year ago in a massive hard drive failure. I’m curious as to whether or not there is anything that I can do in AE to clean up the pixelation, while maintaining the clarity of the image as much as possible.

  Any suggestions? Thanks!
