Clean install on Mountain Lion
Wondering if anyone has run into this issue, bear with me, we have 9 systems, some MacPros and some Macbook Pros. We have been running Snow Leopard for several years and need to get up-to-date.
So IT has made a image, we started installing, and got dropped frames, slow playback, etc. Did a software update which had a XDCAM update (thats what we edit with) and it fixed it.
However, IT then figured out that it was Lion and not ML. So they reimaged with ML, opened up FCP, dropped frames, etc.
Now the tricky part, go to Software Update and it takes us to the App Store and says no available update! My guess is from Lion to ML the traditional Software Update has disappeared? Can you do FCP7 updates through the App Store?

Yes. I just built two ML systems on two Mac Pros. Under Apple menu launch software updates (SWU) and it will launch the App store (now the default SWU mechanism). I downloaded all the ProApp updates to make FCP 7.0.3.
