clean insert edit to aj 1400
Trying to do a clean insert edit from a 720p60 ProRes sequence on to a DVCproHD tape on a AJ 1400 deck. Always get a black frame at the end of the edit or a glitch if its an audio edit… Mastering works fine but the inserts do no go in clean.
Any suggestions?

I don’t think that deck’s capable of insert edits.

Hi Arnie,
We have done them in the past.. but suddenly it’s not working properly. And I can’t figure out why. It actually is doing inserts no problem. just that the last frame is black.
The deck does have the flying erase heads, etc.
