Our company uses a vendor to transfer analog SD videotapes to Quicktime wrapped v210. Media Info displays Clean Aperture sizes for these files per the following screen grab. When I capture SD tapes inhouse using AJA Control Room and a Kona LHi – Media Info does not report clean aperture. Recently, I noticed that one of the files I did appeared slightly squashed vertically when played in QT Player compared to the source as it was displayed on an analog monitor. Could that be due to the lack of a distinction between clean and production apertures for the files I am creating resulting in production aperture being displayed? I do not see any reference to clean or production apertures in AJA documentation.
