Classroom Training in Canada
I’m an intermediate user of AE; I’m about 50/50 self taught/online and DVD tutorials. I live in Toronto, Canada, and I’m looking to benefit from training with a ‘real’ person but I’m having a difficult time finding an expert in the field that teaches or will take someone under their wing, and to be honest, the “official” schools here that offer training in motion graphics are, in my opinion, overpriced and merely brush the surface of AE. So to anyone who knows of individuals teaching AE in Toronto or any links to sites offering personalized or classroom training, your help would be greatly appreciated.

This might not be the answer you are looking for (since I’m since I’m currently in the same situation) but you might want to look at some of the post-grad programs offered at Senaca or Humber College. I think you can take one off courses there instead of applying to a program…but I’m really not sure. It would probably not be a bad idea to check out their websites.
