    Hi all,

I’ve been fooling around in Motion 5 and created this effect.

    2564_classicslrviewfinder.zip

It generates a Classic SLR Viewfinder Effect for FCPX with adjustable groundglass grain, adjustable focus, adjustable exposure. When Build Out is checked the shutter is pressed and the mirror will flip up.
    Here are some screenshots:

If anyone knows how to rig the exposure needle rotation to the average brightness value of the underlying video, please drop me a line. At the moment the needle only reacts to the exposure slider and you can activate the wriggle checkbox to give it the illusion of a working lightmeter, but it remains fake.

    Kind regards,
