clarification for “Produced by” in credits
Hello Cowsters!
CASE:
A client hires you to produce a video. Therefore, I think they should be credited as “producer” ? no? but… you, as a professional videographer/video production company are also a producer? no?How do you handle this in the credits of videos for clients?

It has been my experience that ‘executive producer’ = $$$, while ‘producer’ = talent & work.
On one project in my organization a person with very little editing experience, who contributed a great deal to the ‘look and feel’ and also the content, was billed as the producer. I was billed as post production, even though I made the ‘look & feel’ happen. I think it is a matter of semantics, and does not mean as much to me.If you want you can share the billing such as,
