citygen problem
Hi
I’m very inexperienced with cinema 4d and I’ve recently tried to install the Citygen plug I’ve heard so much about, so I can add graphics to my after effects projects. However, I’ve put the plug files in the plugin directory (tried in a subdirectory & in the main folder, neither worked) and when I try and load the basic sample file I get the error that the plugin isnt found and I cant find it in C4d anywhere. I really cant figure out what I’m doing wrong here. Sorry if its completely obvious, as I hardly know my way around the program.
any help would be greatly appreciated

The folder Citygen should be placed in the pluginfolder directory, so you have done that right. When you choose the plug inte the plugin menu in c4d the preset scen with a bunch of buildings is shown. Have you tried that? Maybe you have a corrupt scene file? I am using it on OSX G5 Dual without any issues.
