    CitiDisk deck for recording HDV

    i recently bought a CitiDisk to work with my CanonHXA-1. It worked the first time but recorded for a PC. So I changed the formatting for Quicktime so I can read it on my MacPro. The instruction book has not been helpful.

    I have a CitiDisk and it works well with my JVC GYHD101. Do I have to use the CitiDisk or can I use a Lacie Rugged (or any hard drive with firewire for that matter)?
