Circular news ticker?
Is there any way to get a long, news ticker style line of text on a path? I want to have text move around a circle, but have the amount of text longer than the circle could display at one time, if that makes sense.
Right now I have used some extremely wide and thin comps applied to a path using the Omino snake plugin but it warps and distorts the text in unpleasant ways when I would prefer it to be as crisp and typographic as possible.

Any suggestions on how to mitigate the ugliness of where the text begins/ends also appreciated!

If you pre-comp your text layer, you can have the text as long as you want and only the text visible in the comp’s width will be wrapped around the circle.
