Circle Chart – Expression
Hello guys, i’m currently working on a Chart made of 12 strokes.
As you can see in this image in the first chart it has 12 strokes and in the second one it’s just 2.
I already have a slider( 1 to 12) linked to the opacity of the 12 layers and the size of the strokes.
As soon as the number of the strokes decreases from 12 to 1 the size of the stroke increases.
What i’m looking for now is to link the radius size of the stroke to the slider as well.
So as soon you decrease the number of strokes the radius of the stoke will increase as shown in the chart 2 -

Hi,
There must be an expression that does the job for you, but I was just thinking you could take your problem backwards :
Have the background be the light green (full circle), and have the strokes be the dark green lines. That way, you would only need to deal with a repeater and a mask.
But as I said, there must be an expression to do it your way as well ????

It’s hard to give an explicit expression without knowing more about your setup, but it should be close to something like this:
radiusMin = 50;
radiusMax = 250;
indexMin = // index of the layer closer to the center
indexMax = // index of the external layer
i = thisLayer.index; // index of this layerlinear(i, indexMin, indexMax, radiusMin, radiusMax);

Edit: forgot to mention that in the above expression, indexMax and radiusMax would depend on your slider control, again through a linear expression.
