July 20, 2005 at 6:47 pm[Francois Stark] “Well, I spoke to Pinnacle and the only way to fix it would be to sign up for a year’s tech support for the board, which would enable me to send the board in for repair.”
Gee, that’s a lovely solution, eh? A shame really as Pinnacle used to have one of the best support teams out there and now they want you to sign up for a year of support for a product that’s all but dead.
i switched to Kona 2 and am happy to work with AJA tech team any day!

CineWave has reached it’s End Of Life (EOL).
There is an explanation of this at the Pinnaclesys.com website under support/cinewave.

I found this in the User Discission Forum as Pinnacle’s website, but nothing could not confirm whether this is an official Pinnacle statement or not. I can’t find where the poster got this info. The interesting thing is the question marks in there where the ‘e’ should be:

July 21, 2005 at 2:50 pmI’ll wager this is correct… an Avid owned company isn’t going to be supporting FCP don’t think… This is bad news for CineWave owners I’m afraid, but hey, it’s good news for AJA, Blackmagic, and Aurora!
