I am moving from a Cinewave to a Kona 2 card. I’m currently working with uncompressed 720p varicam footage and would still like to use the existing footage on my hard drive for future projects. Question is,will the footage captured using the Cinewave YUV codec be compatible with the new Kona 2 card when editing in the same timeline? Not sure if this is even an issue, but if anybody made this transition, please give me a little insight.

That’s good to know Gary. I was under the impression it was only usable with the Decklink and BMD codec…
