  Cineware error in a file with no c4d content

  I’m trying to open an old project, originally created in CS6 and I’m getting the following error on CC2014:

  

  However this file has absolutely no cinema 4D content in it, as it was created in CS6.
  I was able to open it in CC, then saved it there and tried opening the CC file in CC2014, the same error appeared.

  Anyone has any ideas?
