    I started using Cinestyle not long ago and I start to question if it’s really worth it on a 5D MKIII.

    Lets first clear out that I UNDERSTAND how a flat video shot in raw will help in post.

    But isn’t a flat “jpg-ish” video… just a flat jpg.
    I mean, It’s not like you have the possibility to manipulate the waveform of each color in the picture, with a regular video format.
    The contrast and color you loose flatting it down cannot be recovered, right??

    I’m not hating on Cinestyle, I just feel like my MkIII gave me more vivid and natural colors while filming in neutral.
