Cinestyle LUT
Posted by Jeremy Ball on July 14, 2011 at 7:10 pmDoes the Cinestyle LUT for 5D MII footage work with Resolve?
I have a mixed timeline with Red and 5D footage. Can you apply a LUT to certain clips only?
Thanks

July 14, 2011 at 8:51 pmSo I assume that means that Resolve can accepts 3D LUTs in the .mga format?
If I have a timeline of RED and 5D footage how can I apply the Cinestyle LUT to the 50 clips that are from the 5D.
Is there a way to select the 5D footage and assign a LUT to just those clips?

July 15, 2011 at 1:12 pmThanks for the reply. Is there any way to convert the Technicolor Cinestyle .mga LUT to a .cube LUT that Resolve can use?
With so many projects being shot on the 5D there must be a way to use this LUT in something other than Color or Final Cut.

July 15, 2011 at 7:44 pmI thought LUT Buddy was only used for loading and displaying LUTs.
Using LUT Buddy you can convert to many different types of LUTs including Resolves LUT format.
