I’m a first time Cinescore user. I imported a previously rendered Vegas project into Cinescore and added some music, transitions and sound effects. I’m not sure what to do at this point. Do I render the entire project ,with the added audio, while in the Cinescore program? If so, will the original project properties, such as the video settings(Mpeg or HDV), original audio, and markers be preserved as they were rendered previously? Should I name the file the same as it was before it was imported into Cinescore? Any helpful hints will be appreciated. Thanks!

    Excellent CS “workflow” question!

This is how I do it. And this was after watching the CS tutorials and Mr Gary Rebholz – Training Manager for SONY Creative Software – at IBC in Amsterdam Holland.

1] I work ALL my CS requirements as part of a Vegas Audio track – Period!

2] No need to render out anything until I’m good and ready to go.

3] OK! This is the one of the real bonuses of CS – I can keep my own CS variations as a globally available future music sequence! I can save that version and use it in other Veggies.

My advise would be to experiment around your workflow to get to the one you prefer.

    Does this help?

    Grazie

Yes, Graham’s correct. Cinescore works right in Vegas. No need to bring the video into CS.

Just right click on an empty audio track and CS will be one of the choices there.
