I have Cinescore (great little app BTW)and I can get it plugged into Vegas Pro just fine, but does anybody know if it also plugs into Soundforge and Acid? If so…How?

Cinescore only plugs into the 32-bit versions of Vegas Pro 8.0 and 9.0. Nothing else.

    That’s too bad.

Sony should really consider better integration with all of these programs. Something more along the lines of Adobe’s creative suites. I enjoy Sony products and it seems to me that people go for CS4 not necessarily because they like the programs, but for the hardcore integration they’ve got going on.

    Thanks for the answer anyway.

No argument here… I would love to be able to open a Vegas project (.veg) file in ACID or DVD Architect without having to render just like you can open a Premiere Pro project in Encore. Adobe has their act together in that regard and I don’t understand why Sony doesn’t do this. It seems they have all of the pieces to make it happen but just haven’t done so yet. 🙁

    > Could be because Vegas and Soundforge come from two different acquisitions, with two different fields of expertise.

What are you referring to? Both were developed by the Sony Creative Software team when they were part of Sonic Foundry and they already share common code between them for FX settings. Vegas started as an audio app. How is that a different field of expertise than Sound Forge which is an audio app?
