A few questions. I have numerous completed works. I want to put together a cinematographic demo reel for graduate school. I don’t know if I should be breaking the completed works into smaller clips and putting them together for flow, or letting the complete work roll from point A to point B. The schools to which I am applying have a suggested time limit of 20 minutes. Is that recommended or should I shoot for something shorter like five minutes? What about transitions between clips? I do some compositing so I can make transitions, but this is for cinematography, not compositing. What about music? The clips already have their own completed soundtrack and sound effects. Should I disregard them and put my own music track? Help help help.
