    Hi

i have ikonoskop dii digital camera which record uncompressed CinemaDNG files in HD.
i opened this files both in Adobe After Effects and DaVinci Resolve 8. But it seems DaVinci clipping highlight areas. When i open same DNG files with AE Cs5 i can see these highlight areas but i can not see same areas in DaVinci and all areas are clipped.
there may be some parameters in davinci but i do not know.

    Any comments?

here are comparison files between AE and Davinci for different shots

My bet would be that cinemaDMG (sub-type of sequential TIFF), as far as I can gather, is imbedded in XYZ space and is probably not being re-scaled properly similar to the super-white issue.

Apple COLOR had a similar problem with RED-Raw.

Actually I have trouble loading them into DaVinci .
But in Photoshop I can lower the exposure to a healthy level and get the whole sunset sky back.
Adobe probably works close with the developers of DNG and my best guess would be to batch convert them now.

Sascha i noticed that you use DaVinci 7 which is not supporting CinemaDNG. Only 8 is supporting. So if you want to load the CinemaDNG files you need to upgrade to DaVinci 8 (which is free to upgrade)
