“No. Cinema Tools is primarily for film work…its main function is to maintain a database of Keycode numbers for a film conform of an FCP edit. It also can be used to batch remove pulldown from film to tape transfers for 24fps editing. It does not convert anything to 24p
Graeme Nattress does make a great filmlook plug in which might do the trick for you. There is a demo version available.

but I had in mind something that can be done with native FCP tools, like interpeting fields and then blending them. I mean I want to do the same thing I do in after effects but in FCP. like this tutorial:

May 23, 2005 at 6:15 pmKen Stone has just such a tutorial on his site, although I don’t recommend such tricks for producing a film look as they never look as good as a plugin (and yes, I do sell such plugins, but trust me, I wouldn’t have written them and wouldn’t be selling them if I could have achieved the same quality of effect without using them). The above trick basically is a blend de-interlace. If you want that effect, there’s plenty of free and no-so-free plugins that will do it in FCP. However, it does 30p not the 24p you need for the true film look, and it won’t allow you to edit the video on a 23.98fps timeline which is what I thought was needed.
