Cinema Tools won’t load
Does anyone know if there’s a similar solution to this,
{ https://www.digitalrebellion.com/compressorrepair/ }
for cinema tools app in FCP studio. I’m trying to conform a clip and cinema tools won’t load fully.
It stuck at the loading screen { the logo with the software name}.
I just did a preferences trash for a problem I was having with Log and transfer in FCP, any chance this is a related problem?

Did you try trashing CT prefs?

I’ll try that Jeremy, I’m assuming they can be found in the same location as FCP pref ?

Yes. User > Library > Preferences
Also, what kind of file are you opening?
Have you tried right clicking on the file and choosing Open with > Cinema Tools?

Thanks Jeremy, I got it working now. It wouldn’t open from the alias I created for my dock. I trashed it and the preferences and made a new copy and added it to my dock and it opens and runs as it should.
I tried right clicking on it like you mentioned before I posted about the problem.
It opened the clip but only gave me what looked like some sort of player and no adjustments, really weird.I was concerned that there might be a bigger issue so I just wanted it to work like the rest of the apps.
I got it working again, thank you. -
