Cinema tools reverse telecine question

I’m assuming you sent them to Cinema Tools from FCP?

This would be the case then. It (FCP) thinks they’re still 30frames.

Im getting a warning saying that “cinema tools has trimmed extra frames off one or more clips and those clips will have to be reconnected in FCP””

the problem is you worked in NDF- NTSC wants the timing to be DF for conversions.

so when you chose 30NDF as a tape format and did the conversion is to 23.98– CT needs to trim the frames to match the 23.98 time base, because you went converted from 30fps to 23.98 not 29.97 to 23.98.
