  Cinema Tools Help

  Hello,

  I do not have Cinema Tools in front of me, but I’m trying to help a friend get an EDL together to be Imported into an IQ.

  This is roughly what I need from an EDL-

  Foot/ Duration/ First-Last Key/ Start TC/ Tape#/ LRoll/CRoll/ Clip Name

  1677 163frames EH 56 7015-6141+02 05:36:34:10 VT001 AIR74 C132 50A(c)

  This is what FCP kicks out –

  Shot Time Duration Keycode In Frame Out Frame Roll Clip name

  002 02:00:08:00 00:13:25 EB 73 6343 9660&14 9677&05 A66 25C-4PU

  So it would seem take FCP can NOT create an EDL that has both Key info and Tape #..?

  1)How do I merge the two EDLs into one(Excel?) Or can this actually be done now with Cinetools 3?

  2)Also can FCP output “Duration” as frames only?

  3)And it looks like the FCP EDL has key information at 20 frames a foot, it should be 39 frames a foot. Is this something that can be set in FCP as well?
