CINEMA 4D Simulation Tags stop working!
Posted by Peter Piekarczyk on January 31, 2012 at 7:34 pmHi everyone, I was working on a tutorial where I have a bunch of spheres in a gumball machine and the dynamic tags worked at one point and now I’m not sure if I clicked something or not but no matter how many times I press play or re-add the tags, the spheres do not drop anymore! There is 0 animation.
Thanks!

January 31, 2012 at 9:07 pmDid you turn off Dynamics in your project settings?

January 31, 2012 at 9:14 pmNope. Dynamics is enabled. It just stopped working. I tried opening a new project and the same thing happens – nothing.

January 31, 2012 at 9:28 pmWhat version of C4D? Does it render with dynamics if you render to the Picture Viewer?

January 31, 2012 at 10:31 pmI tried playing around with that too. Nothing seems to be working. Are there certain settings I could have accidently clicked through keyboard shortcuts? Something I may have skipped?

January 31, 2012 at 10:52 pmIs it possible that I’m not using the studio edition that makes this mess up for me? Thanks

February 1, 2012 at 5:15 pmBroadcast has Dynamics limited to mograph objects (like 11.5 they have to be at least the child of a Fracture object if not of a cloner) otherwise you need Studio to get all the functionality.
Comparison of the versions is here https://www.maxon.net/en/products/general-information/general-information/product-comparison.html
