    Hi Cinema4D Users,

I have a question about rendering to separate resolutions based on the camera being used. I have to render at 2048×768 for one ‘main’ camera, with my ‘side’ cameras set to 1024×768. Instead of changing my render settngs manually to the appropriate resolution, then rendering, is there an efficient way to batch render all 3 cameras yet have them export at different resolution?

We are projecting my renders on two main screens that are side by side (2 x 1024×768 signals = 2048×768) then the side screens are only single screens so they need to be 1024×768. 1024×768 is the native resolution of the projectors.

Any thoughts? Am I missing something simple? 🙂

Any help is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks so much.

I would save the file under three names with the appropriate render settings and use NET render to batch them.

I was hoping for another solution, as we don’t have Net render setup yet. Is there no other way to do this, other than saving multiple files?

No, I can’t think of any other way to do it, short of cropping the frames that need to be smaller.

But NET is actually quite simple to set up and you don’t even have to use it across multiple machines if you don’t want to. The host machine can also be a client machine.
