So I’m doing some packaging design in C4D, and opening my guides which I created in Illustrator. As an example, I created the following.

    1. 10cm x 10cm square in Illustrator.
    2. Saved the file as and Illustrator 8 file.
    3. Opened in C4D R21, set scale to 0.035cm (1/72*2.54)
    4. Checked the dimensions of my spline in the size properties.
    5. Size: X = 0.353cm, Y = 0.353cm

I’ve done this before in previous releases and it checks out perfectly. My measurements are 1:1. It is not the case in C4D R21.

    Am I doing something wrong?

Try exporting as .eps instead. Then the measurements should be identical when merged into C4D at 1cm scale factor.

If you must use illustrator format or svg then try setting the dpi to 2.54 during export.
