    Non linear animation seems to me a great leap forward.

    what other programs offer that much power?

    Okay I admit it I am fairly new to 3D animation still learning.

    Also on a Mac the new version is written in cocoa could make for a faster more stable program surely.

    I am somewhat surprised no-on has left any comments all too busy doing your work I suppose? Or you all knew it was coming?

    Houdini and SoftImage XSI both have some form of Non linear animation. Of course Houdini is much more expensive than Maxon or SoftImage and SoftImage is Windows and Linux only.
