  • Cinema 4D model into Photoshop with textures?

I am very new to this. I am trying to take a 3D model I created in Cinema 4D and export it out and bring it into Photoshop CS5. I have been trying to do this by exporting out an .obj file and then importing it into photoshop. I can get the model in to photoshop but it wont bring the textures with. I tried by using a .dae file and then it brought the textures with but the textures are all messed up and not aligned correctly. My textures on my model are projected Frontal and Cylndrical not UVW. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

I tried with Collada export on a sphere and it worked fine. Not sure what the problem was. OTOH, I agree that BP is a much better tool for painting directly on a model.
