Hi there. I’d been modeling in Maya and there was an option to mirror a selection. Basically set the plane down the center of a symmetrical modeland whenever you make a selection or soft selection the software selects the corresponding points on the other side of the model. It was great because was just working on one model- not 2 halves of a model that would need to be stuck back together and have holes patched around the seam later.

Is there any similar function in Cinema 4D? The only way I can find is to use the symmetry object and that makes it pretty time consuming to use soft selections because I end up with holes in the middle of the completed model at the end that I have to go through and fix.

    Thanks!
