July 21, 2008 at 8:38 amI had one for a while…it s great if you are familiar with Cinema but not advanced… he gives you a great intro into most aspects of the program but does not go in depth at all…
I got a lot out of it at first. I didnt bother getting the download files and had no issues what so ever./Randy

July 21, 2008 at 11:49 amHi Robert,
The presenter scratches the surface, nothing special. Usable for beginners to some extend,
when it gets deeper you often hear “…but this is something we won’t cover in this title”.
Partly recommended. Hope that helpsCheers

July 21, 2008 at 10:02 pmThere’s one title for v10.5 and one for 9. It’s completely introductory. I just picked up C4D a couple months ago with hardly no 3D experience and I was feelin’ good after a 4-day bootcamp with his tutorials. Yes, it just scratches the surface as someone else said, but if you’re a beginner it’s a great start. Have you tried Cineversity.com?

July 23, 2008 at 2:01 pmI just wrote this in another thread and saw this one right after. Here’s what I said:
“Go to cineversity.com and register as a guest. There are tons of free to non-members videos that are very helpful. The lynda.com videos should be considered more of a product demo than a training video. Consider that they have 20 different series for PS CS3 and 1 for C4D 10 which is enormously more complex.”
